Mr. Norm's Gives The Challenger The 1983 Hurst/Olds Treatment
Mr. Norm and Hurst teamed up in 1968, and now, history repeats itself as they join forces once again to create the Hurst Heritage by GSS 40th Anniversary ’83 Hurst Tribute. The aftermarket custom package takes the Dodge Challenger and gives it one of the most iconic Hurst cars styling cues.
The 40th Anniversary ’83 Hurst Tribute is a nod to the iconic 1983 Hurst/Olds Cutlass Supreme, which was characterized by its black upper body, contrasting silver lower body, and bright red accent striping. The 1983 model was equipped with a specially-tuned 5.0-liter V-8 engine that could produce 180 horsepower and desirable options like a tachometer, a specially-tuned automatic transmission, dual exhaust, and a sticker package.
The 40th Anniversary ’83 Hurst Tribute Challenger perfectly blends Mr. Norm’s tradition of a tire-smoking HEMI-powered muscle car and Hurst’s tradition of the “gentlemen’s” hot rod. Available in standard and Widebody versions, only 12 serial-numbered cars will be built, each being a “one-of-one.”
Each of the cars will include the following:
